Management

“Japanese buyers take about US$15 billion of Southeast Asian agricultural exports each year, and they ask for proof of origin, quality and certification before they buy,” said Koji Mitsuo, Japan Desk Head at TechCoop. “We check those things on every trade. That same data can support Japan’s global and regional banks to underwrite, increasing Southeast Asian agriculture bankability. The TSE Asia Startup Hub puts us in front of Japan’s investors, listed companies and advisors, and it holds us to the reporting and governance standards a public company must meet.”
Investor
“TechCoop has grown revenue more than twentyfold since 2023 on US$30 million of equity, and it has booked an audited profit in every year,” said Nao Murakami, General Partner, SMBC Asia Rising Fund. “The Tokyo Stock Exchange’s selection confirms what we saw when we invested, and we are honored to have forged this bridge between high-growth social value businesses from Southeast Asia leveraging our Japan edge.”
