ABOUT US
TECHCOOP is at the forefront of digital innovation in agriculture, offering a B2B platform that provides end-to-end solutions tailored for export-oriented supply chains. The platform empowers Agri-MSMEs and farmer clubs — critical stakeholders in Vietnam’s agriculture sector — through comprehensive services such as technology enablement, product traceability, flexible payment terms, and enhanced market access for commercialising agricultural goods.
Earlier this year, we had successfully closed a landmark $70 million Series A funding round, one of the largest Series A investments in Southeast Asia's agricultural technology sector to date.
We are a passionate, fast-moving startup backed by leading investors, and we're building a platform from the ground up. We believe in empowering our people to do their best work, and we're looking for foundational members to join us on this incredible journey.
THE ROLE
You will own the requirements for internal systems that several departments depend on at once. A single change to how we record a shipment touches Sales, Operations, Finance, Credit and sometimes HR, and each team has different priorities, vocabulary and pain points. Your job is to turn that into something every team can see and react to before engineering starts, usually a working prototype backed by an AI-assisted spec that engineers and AI coding agents can build from.
AI is central to how we expect this role to be done. You will use AI tools every day to understand processes faster, turn ideas into prototypes within days, and present requirements in forms each department grasps quickly, such as working demos, generated diagrams and realistic sample data. A growing part of the work is also deciding which manual operational steps AI agents should take over, and defining how people review and correct what those agents do.
You report to the CTO and work day to day with engineers, department heads and the operators who use these systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Map how work actually flows between departments by sitting with the people who do it, not only their managers.
Prototype solutions before they are built: clickable mockups, working demos or small internal tools made with AI coding assistants, so stakeholders react to something real instead of a document.
Write specs as AI-assisted, visual artifacts rather than long Word documents: interactive HTML pages, generated flow and state diagrams, realistic sample data and annotated prototypes.
Identify which manual steps can be automated or handed to AI agents, and specify the guardrails, approvals and exception paths around them.
Test what gets built against the spec (UAT), coordinate rollout and training with each department, and track adoption after launch.
Keep process documentation current so a new hire in any department can understand how the system works.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Stakeholder management
3+ years as a BA, product owner or similar on internal or enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, finance, HR, supply chain) used by at least three departments.
A concrete track record of resolving conflicting requirements between teams.
Comfortable pushing back on senior people with evidence, and saying no to scope when it does not serve the goal.
Can explain a technical constraint to an operations manager and an operational constraint to an engineer without losing either.
Prototyping and specification
Builds working prototypes with AI-assisted coding tools.
Uses AI to convey ideas, not only to write faster: generating flow diagrams, HTML mockups, sample datasets or short walkthroughs that make a requirement obvious to a non-technical stakeholder.
Precise where it matters: acceptance criteria, data definitions, state changes and edge cases are clear enough that an engineer or an AI coding agent can build without guessing.
Comfortable with SQL for answering your own questions from the data (joins, aggregations, finding inconsistent records).
Ways of working
Works in short cycles: ships a rough prototype in days, gets feedback from the people who will use it, and iterates rather than waiting for a complete spec.
Fluent in Vietnamese and professional working English, written and spoken. Most stakeholders work in Vietnamese; specs and engineering discussions are often in English.
Nice to have
Domain experience in agriculture, commodity trading, logistics, import/export or trade finance.
Exposure to credit or lending workflows: KYC, credit scoring, limits, collections.
Hands-on with any of ERP/BI systems.
Has taken a prototype of their own into production use, even a small internal tool.
